These terms and conditions outline the rules and guidelines for participating in the “Sabi Chef” cooking show. By entering this competition, contestants agree to abide by the terms and conditions set forth below:

1. Eligibility:

   • The “Sabi Chef” cooking show is open to all individuals who are legal residents of Nigeria and are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry.
   • Family members, friends, and staff (including employees, contractors, and volunteers) of Newspread NG and other sponspors are strictly prohibited from participating in the competition.

2. Competition Overview:

   • “Sabi Chef” is a cooking competition that will be aired on the Media (Social Media)
   • The competition will consist of multiple rounds, with each round featuring specific culinary challenges.

3. Application Process:

   • Interested individuals must complete and submit the official application form provided by the “Sabi Chef” production team.
   • All information provided in the application must be true and accurate.
   • Submission of the application does not guarantee participation in the show.

4. Selection Process:

   • The “Sabi Chef” production team will review all applications and select contestants based on various criteria, including cooking skills, personality, and potential to entertain the audience.
   • The decision of the production team regarding the selection of contestants will be final and binding.

5. Code of Conduct:

   • Contestants must conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner throughout the competition.
   • Any form of disruptive, offensive, or inappropriate behavior may result in immediate disqualification from the show.

6. Intellectual Property:

   • By participating in the “Sabi Chef” cooking show, contestants grant Newspread NG and its affiliates the right to use their name, image, likeness, and any footage or content recorded during the show for promotional and marketing purposes.
   • All recipes created by the contestants during the competition will remain their intellectual property.

7. Prizes:

   • The prizes for the winners of “Sabi Chef” will be determined by Newspread NG

8. Liability and Indemnification:

   • Contestants agree that Newspread NG, its affiliates, and the production team shall not be held responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the participation in the “Sabi Chef” cooking show.
   • Contestants shall indemnify and hold Newspread NG harmless from any claims, demands, or liabilities arising out of their participation in the competition.

9. Changes to the Terms and Conditions:

   • Newspread NG reserves the right to modify or amend these terms and conditions at any time. Contestants will be notified of any changes as soon as reasonably possible.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

    • These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Nigeria.
    • Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Nigeria.

By entering the “Sabi Chef” cooking show, contestants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.
